Matthew S. Farris was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2006. His law practice focuses primarily on business law with specific emphasis on litigation, business associations, estate planning and real estate.
Mr. Farris attended the
University of North Carolina at
Greensboro where he received his B.S. in Finance in 1999 (cum laude). After graduation, he was a professional athlete (soccer) until 2002.
He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in August 2005. While in law school, Mr. Farris served as a student intern for the Hon. Robert Perugino. Additionally, Mr. Farris held several academic membership positions including: Member of the Energy Law Journal, Member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity, and Committee Chairman of the Student Bar Association. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for outstanding achievement in the study of Property Law and Decedents' Estates and Trusts.
Mr. Farris's professional memberships include: the Tulsa County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Young Lawyers Division. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Oklahoma. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of
Tulsa .
