Adam K. Marshall was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2003. His law practice focuses
primarily on business law with specific emphasis on litigation, business associations,
federal contract law, taxes, and estate planning.
Mr. Marshall attended the University of Tulsa where he received his B.A. in Organization
Communication and a Certificate of Achievement in International Studies in 1997
(magna cum laude). He was also inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation,
he worked as a marketing manager in Tulsa for a locally owned, nationwide distribution
company.
Mr. Marshall received his Juris Doctorate (with distinction) and Master of Business
Administration in May of 2003 from the University of Oklahoma. While in law school,
Mr. Marshall served for two years as student clerk for the Hon. Charles S. Chapel
of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Mr. Marshall held several academic membership
positions including: Competition Director for the Board of Advocates, Phi Delta
Phi Legal Honor Fraternity, and Vice-President of the Graduate Business Association.
He was a member of multiple moot court and trial teams, and is a member of the Order
of Barristers. Mr. Marshall also served as Online Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review
and is the author of "Oil & Gas Law: Royalty Valuation: Rogers v. Westerman
Farm Co .: Burdening Lessees with an Implied Duty to Deliver Gas to a Marketable
Location," 56 OKLA. L. REV. 233(2003).
Mr. Marshall's professional associations include the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa
County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Marshall serves as
an attorney coach for the Broken Arrow High School OBA Mock Trial Team; he also
serves on the OBA National Mock Trial 2006 Competition Committee. He is a member
of the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa and the Sigma Chi Fraternity Tulsa Alumni
Chapter.
